Responsible Cannabis Policy for New Hampshire
New Hampshire lawmakers are considering legislation to commercialize cannabis in New Hampshire, and it's imperative that they
get it right from the start.
Responsible cannabis commercialization protects children and youth, promotes social justice and equity, protects public, population, and behavioral health, and ensures funding from cannabis revenue is invested into evidence-based harm reduction strategies.
Our Principles for Cannabis Policy and Regulation
The NH Cannabis Policy Coalition for Public Health and Social Justice strives to inform, shape, and advance responsible cannabis commercialization policy that embraces and reflects public health and social justice principles while prioritizing evidence-based harm reduction approaches to marijuana use by adults.
These principles:
-
Protect children and youth
-
Promote social justice and opportunities for equity
-
Protect public, population, and behavioral health
-
Ensure appropriate funding from cannabis revenue is directed to efforts to reduce harm
